At Springwood we believe that homework should form an essential part of the teaching and learning process and that it should help to raise standards of educational achievement.

We believe it helps create a firm partnership between home and school. Our policy sets out the responsibilities of all parties and the type and quantity of homework expected.

If you would like help on how best to support your child’s education at home, please call into school to see your child’s class teacher or the Headteacher.

Last year we ran an after-school homework workshop to support parents. This coming year we aim to run further workshops including a numeracy (maths) workshop to help parents.
