RE Intent

To introduce children to religious and non-religious world views and to enable them to build on their own experiences so that they deepen their understanding the value of living either a religious or non-religious life. At Springwood, we follow 'Living Difference' and had a glowing SACRE visit in September 2024. 

In England, parents have the legal right to withdraw their child from religious education (RE) in state-funded schools, either in part or in full.  Parents can withdraw their child without giving a reason.
